Only concern I have with installing cm9 is losing the asus quick-settings in the notification area. Is there going to be an ability to change the Performance mode? Or to toggle the “super IPS” mode?

ips control would be nice. but as far as cpu speed. a good kernal allowing steps from 200mhz to as high as someone can safely overclock it controlled with profiles such as in setcpu would eliminate the need for the 3 performance settings. you would actually have better control over your performance and battery life.

True I hadn’t really thought about it. I’ve used CM7/9 on my SGS2, and CM7 on my htc desire ,but changing governors was never as easy as it is to toggle modes in the asus quicksettings on my TFP..
You’re right though. Basically it would only be the IPS controls that would be missing.

Hopefully they leave the Asus customized settings in the settings menu atleast so we have the option…we shall see
